Head Coach Narlen Says:
We're continuing to improve with our ability to execute plays correctly and understanding our individual responsibilities as a member of the team. The Aguilas Regias are very enthusiastic about playing football and growing as a competitive team
in the WFA. I hope this season gives them the experience they are so anxiously awaiting to get them to where they want to be.
Their efforts and attitudes are a positive reminder of why we play this game.
Looking into our next game against the Acadiana Zydeco, we'll be playing another team for the first time and expect a similar game as we had against the Aguilas Regias. Central Texas Coats for Kids
In December, the Austin Outlaws took part in the 2010 Coats for Kids campaign in Austin. The players and coaches volunteered their team to hand out coats to kids in need for the winter season. What a fantastic way to help give back to such a supportive city!
Cactus Ranch Elementary School Hoe Down Festival
The Austin Outlaws volunteered their time at the Cactus Ranch Elementary School Hoe Down Festival this fall. They manned the football throwing booth and took pictures with the kids. All kids also got a chance to put on Outlaw pads and helmets and experience what it feels like to be a football player. Players printed out the pictures with the kids and autographed them as well.
